I’Lee Hooker Memorial Garden at Tiburon Library

We developed landscape design and construction plans for the I’Lee Memorial Garden with the goal of enhancing the existing space while honoring its original intent. The design introduces educational plantings alongside artistic and interpretive elements that bring new life and meaning to the garden. Without altering the existing hardscape or irrigation, we layered in sculptural features and dynamic planting palettes to create a vibrant, contemplative space that invites curiosity, reflection, and connection.
